Eclipse is built by Eclipse Systems Inc., a Colorado-based company. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information. By using Eclipse or joining our waitlist, you agree to the terms described here.
Information We Collect
Waitlist email address: When you join our waitlist at eclipsesystemsinc.com, we collect your email address. This is the only personal information collected on our website.
App usage data: Eclipse uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to manage app limits and grayscale scheduling. This data is processed entirely on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
Analytics: We may collect anonymized, aggregated usage data to improve the app experience. This data cannot be used to identify you personally.
How We Use Your Information
Your email address is used solely to notify you when Eclipse launches and to send you early access information. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties. You may request removal from our waitlist at any time by emailing liam@eclipsesystemsinc.com.
Data Retention
Waitlist emails are retained until Eclipse launches or until you request deletion. On-device app usage data is managed by iOS and subject to Apple's data retention policies. Anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely in aggregate form.
Third-Party Services
We use Formspree (formspree.io) to process waitlist form submissions. Formspree's privacy policy governs their handling of submitted data. We do not use any other third-party data processors on our website at this time.
Children's Privacy
Eclipse is intended for users aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has submitted their email through our waitlist, please contact us at liam@eclipsesystemsinc.com and we will delete it promptly.
Your Rights
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information at any time. To exercise these rights, contact us at liam@eclipsesystemsinc.com. We will respond within 30 days.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Eclipse develops. Material changes will be noted by updating the date at the top of this page. Continued use of our site or app constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
