Last updated: March 2026Acceptance of Terms
By accessing eclipsesystemsinc.com, joining our waitlist, or using the Eclipse app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Eclipse Systems Inc.
Description of Service
Eclipse is an iOS application that helps users manage screen time through scheduled app limits and automatic grayscale display settings. Eclipse uses Apple's Screen Time and FamilyControls APIs to implement these features entirely on your device.
Our website at eclipsesystemsinc.com serves as a pre-launch waitlist and informational resource. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any aspect of our services at any time.
Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years of age to use Eclipse or join our waitlist. By using our services, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement. If you are under 18, you represent that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.
Waitlist
By submitting your email address to our waitlist, you consent to receive communications from Eclipse Systems Inc. regarding our app launch, early access invitations, and related product updates. Joining the waitlist does not guarantee access to the Eclipse app or any specific launch timeline.
You may opt out of waitlist communications at any time by contacting us at liam@eclipsesystemsinc.com.

Disclaimer of Warranties
Eclipse and eclipsesystemsinc.com are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. Eclipse Systems Inc. does not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.
We make no warranties regarding the effectiveness of Eclipse in reducing screen time or achieving any particular behavioral outcome. Results may vary by individual.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Eclipse Systems Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of Eclipse or eclipsesystemsinc.com. Our total liability for any claim arising from these terms shall not exceed the amount you paid for the service in the preceding twelve months.
Apple Requirements
Eclipse is distributed through the Apple App Store. Your use of Eclipse is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms and Conditions. Apple is not a party to these Terms of Service and bears no responsibility for Eclipse or its content. Any claims relating to Eclipse must be directed to Eclipse Systems Inc., not Apple.
Eclipse requires certain iOS system permissions — including Screen Time and FamilyControls access — to function. Granting these permissions is voluntary, but some features will not be available without them.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the date at the top of this page. Your continued use of our website or app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
Governing Law
These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be resolved in the courts of Denver County, Colorado, and you consent to personal jurisdiction in that venue.
